Today is the UN’s International Day of People with Disability. This is a day for not only recognising the contribution and achievements of people with disability, but about the need for society to strive towards a disability-inclusive, accessible and sustainable world.

There’s no better time to think about how to improve the inclusivity of workplaces than as we move into the post-COVID world – especially as we’ve seen over the past year how small changes can make significant changes to workplace inclusivity. And when workers with disabilities outperform colleagues 90% of the time, these are changes that are well worth making!

JobsBank is committed to providing businesses with the advice, supports and contacts they need to move towards a more inclusive society, ensuring that the Victoria we rebuild as we recover is fairer, more equitable, and more productive for everyone.
