After two years of disruption, the Melbourne Food & Drink Festival made its triumphant return, with a commitment to inclusive employment front and centre.

Jobsbank’s first Meet The Suppliers event displayed just a hint of the depth and breadth of Australia’s social impact community.

Held at a joyous black-tie event in Melbourne this month, the awards celebrated the LGBTIQ+ community at its finest, and included Jobsbank’s award for Excellence in Small Business and Enterprise.

“Throughout my life people keep telling me I’m friendly and helpful, but most of the time we don’t think of these qualities as ‘skills’. This is the first time I get to see how they translate in a work environment. I am hoping to see something in myself that maybe I didn’t realise I had.”
